Validity

The ANNUAL PLUS subscription ticket is issued with a validity of 12 months starting from the first day of the requested month. The SCHOOL PLUS subscription ticket is issued with a validity of 10 months (fixed period, conventionally established from 1st September to 30th June of the following year).

Validity

BOAT SERVICE:

• The subscription for the boat service does not, in any case, allow boarding on the rapid service trips.
• The subscription for the boat service gives the right to make an unlimited number of trips on the route for which it is valid with the possibility of making intermediate stops.

FAST SERVICE:

• The weekly pass – valid from Monday to Saturday – gives the right to make an unlimited number of trips on the route for which it is valid without the possibility of making intermediate stops, or boarding is only possible from the stops indicated on the ticket. It also allows boarding on boat rides.
• The monthly pass entitles you to make an unlimited number of trips on the route for which it is valid with the possibility of making intermediate stops. It also allows boarding on boat rides.

PLUS:

• The PLUS subscription gives the right to make, within the terms of validity and for the service indicated therein (boat or rapid service), an unlimited number of trips on the route for which it is valid with the possibility of making intermediate stops.

VEHICLES:

The monthly vehicle pass is valid only for the vehicle whose license plate is indicated on the pass. It is valid for the month indicated on the ticket and is neither refundable nor replaceable. It gives you the right to make an unlimited number of trips on the ordinary routes of the ferry service.
Special vehicles:

• Cars for mixed transport and vehicles used for the transport of coffins are assimilated into “Cars” and therefore the tariffs are applied according to their length.
• The ambulances are considered “Cars from over 3.50 meters to 4.50 meters”
• For special purpose vehicles, such as bulldozers, tractors, etc. the tariffs for “Trucks” are applied according to their total weight, which can be found in the vehicle registration document.

WARNING:

We inform you that in some periods of the year, for certain relationships, the line service is suspended. Therefore, customers are invited to check whether a regular scheduled service is provided during the period of validity of the subscription.

PURCHASE METHOD:

• The weekly pass can be purchased starting from the Friday preceding the start of the week of validity.
• The monthly pass (both boat service and rapid service) can be purchased five days before the start of the month of validity.
• For weekly and monthly passes, it is sufficient to go to a land ticket office of Navigazione Lago di Como and show an identity document (traveller pass) or the vehicle registration document (vehicle pass) from which the data is deducted; the holder of a passenger travelcard or license plate for a vehicle pass – which makes the ticket personal, non-transferable.
• For long-term subscriptions called “PLUS” – annual or scholastic – it is necessary to fill in the appropriate form, available at the ticket offices, to produce a passport-size photograph (two if issued in two tranches), as well as to document the student status (only for PLUS Scholastic).
